Our small charming apartment "Down by the Sea beachfront Apartment", consists of two separate rooms that are connected by a small hallway. The entrance door takes you directly into the first room, the cozy single room. Here it has a single bed, a built-in wardrobe and a dining bar where you can have your meals in a relaxed manner. You can also use this room perfectly as a living room or office. The small fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the room. The small kitchen should have everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner according to your own taste. The spacious bathroom can be reached via the master bedroom. From the master bedroom you can access your terrace, the garden and the beach through a sliding glass door with a fly screen door. The apartment is on the ground floor of our private house, so a smooth check-in and check-out should not cause any problems, we can also help you with information and tips at any time. We look forward to welcoming you to our little paradise as soon as possible. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for your perfect day on the beach. Comfortable beach chairs are also available for an unforgettable evening on the beach with a campfire, cold beer or a glass of wine. We live on the property and therefore can provide helpful recommendations on local attractions, restaurants and shopping. Playa Coyote and the whole area of Coyote is one of the most pristine beaches and areas in Guanacaste. If you love peace, untouched nature and empty beaches, then you are exactly on the right place. It seems like that time has stood still here because we are far away from mass tourism and this makes our area to a secret spot. Fancy Restaurants, shops and nightlife like in tourist centers, we do not have to offer. However, there are also several supermarkets and various good Restaurantes close by. Playa Coyote is an attractive holiday destination especially for winter-weary Europeans and North Americans. Between December and May it is the dry season, with little rain, clear blue skies and temperatures ranging from 27 ° C to 37 ° C with very low humidity. The rainy season has its charm as well, this is when nature shows Costa Rica at is famous natural best with green lush mountains, sunshine and rain showers with temperatures still between 25° and 30 ° C. September and October are often the heaviest rainfalls. The major attraction of Playa Coyote is the 9 km long natural sand beach which you will have mostly to yourself. The Pacific waves can at times be exciting for surfers or beachcombers alike. The water is clear and clean with temperatures between 25 °C and 30 °C. You can walk, jog, swim, snorkel, surf or body surf. River boat trips in the mangrove area for nature observation or fishing are also possible. You can find pretty shells on the beach and with luck you can find sea turtles laying eggs, especially during the months of July to December. If you make Coyote your base you can still make many trips to other beautiful parts of the country and there are many different activities and options available. In the local village of San Francisco live perhaps 600 inhabitants. There you will find two well-stocked supermarkets, a few Cabins, a German Coffee Shop, 3 Restaurants, a Hardware store, a School and a College. There are no ATM bank machines locally, however in many places you can pay by credit card or dollars. Car (4X4) is recommended. Parking space available directly at the accommodation. Various restaurants and supermarkets, horse riding, surfing lessons, yoga, canoeing, massages, turtle rearing station and butterfly farm are within 1 to 10 km. We offer very good WiFi.
