The Wine Room, Oakland OR

Need a refuge? The Wine Room is in the small town of Oakland Oregon, in the Umpqua Valley, one hour south of Eugene. It is isolated and a safe place during CoVid. Walk the uncrowded town and local parks. Your personal use of the kitchen Is negotiable. The winery does not use it often during CoVid. The private room has a beautiful bathroom with a heated floor, a mini-fridge and micro. Located in the back of a historic bank building that is our tasting room it is good for couples and solo. The bathroom is across the hall from your bedroom but the hall, bathroom and bedroom are all yours while you are staying. The bathroom has a heated tile floor. There is complimentary coffee, tea and water and wine, beer and soda available for purchase. The Triple Oak Wine Vault tasting room is in the front of the historic building and the Wine Room guest room is in the back, accessed from a private rear door off of Second Street. If you stay multiple days or over the weekend we may have to access the hallway, mid-day only, to retrieve wine from our wine cellar but your bedroom remains private as does the hallway all evening and morning. The tasting room is open to tastings but we use safe practices. You may taste outside or at widely spaced tables. If we are not open we are just five minutes away if you have any questions or would like to purchase wine. Walk from your room all over downtown Oakland and the historic district. Visit antique stores in the 120 year old buildings and learn about the local history from the museum across the street. Bart's Oakland Market has food for purchase and cafe's might have meals to go. Oakland is a small rural town with no public transportation. The great thing about that is there is generally on-street parking available just outside the Wine Room. Oakland is conveniently located just 2 miles from I-5 from either the north or south but the quaint historic character makes you feel like you are eons away. SPECIAL CORONA VIRUS CONSIDERATION: We make every effort to sanitize and clean the room between guests and there is a good filtration system in the HVAC. Rest assured that we will do everything we can to assure the room is clean and safe.
