It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood that is children friendly. We are just minutes from the back side of the Lanikai Pillbox hike (Kaiwa Ridge Trail) which is one of the most picturesque and pleasant Oahu trails. From the house, it is a 5 minute walk to Safeway, Starbucks, a local movie theater, The Shack for your happy hour needs and other restaurants. By vehicle, It is a 5 Minute drive to Downtown Kailua, Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach. Many great restaurants to chose from that are minutes away. In Kailua town there is Whole Foods, Grace and Growlers (for your beer drinking experience), Target, Walgreens, CVS, Yoga, Shaved Ice, 3 of the top breakfast or brunch restaurant (Over Easy, Moke's Bread & Breakfast and Cinnamon's Restaurant) on the island and more. Thinking of going into town, it is a 25 minute drive, over the Pali Highway into town (Honolulu, Waikiki). Our house is a single floor, with complete privacy surrounding the property. There are two outdoor showers, one by the swimming pool and the other, by the master bedroom. There is one Cal King bed in the large Master Bedroom (25' x 18'), with dual sinks and a large walk in shower plus a safe for your valuables. The Junior Master Bedroom has a Queen size bed with it's own private bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms, each with a comfortable full size bed. We also have a full size sofa bed in the den. Each bedroom has it's own AC unit and ceiling fan. Throughout the common space are ceiling fans. If all the windows are open, a nice breeze will flow through the entire house. The Master Bedroom and living room has Netflix and Hulu. Two of the other bedrooms have a wall T.V. and require HDMI TV streaming device such as the Amazon Fire Stick or other like devices. Please bring your own, should you want to watch your own T.V. programs. Our swimming pool is a salt water pool. On the pool deck is a three burner Weber BBQ grill and Gazebo for outdoor dining. The garage has a level 2 charger for your electric vehicle. The garage can fit two vehicles. The entry into the kitchen can be accessed from the garage. Our beautiful kitchen has a gas stove with 5 burners, oven and is fully furnished with cooking utensils, utensils, plates, cups, dishes, wine glasses, mugs, etc. You will have a view from the kitchen window of Olomana Mountains and of the swimming pool area. For your use, we have beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, boogie board, beach toys and towels. Walking distance to Safeway, restaurants, Starbucks and movie theater. For the safety and security of our guests and neighbors, the exterior of the home is monitored 24/7 by a video security. Quiet hours is between 9pm to 8am. Also, we actively monitor noise levels during quiet hours.
