The Strawberry Cottage

The Strawberry Cottage is waiting for you to fulfill your cottage core dreams. Privately nestled on a 1 acre lot; outside the Apple Capital, Berwick. Surrounded by the family’s horse pastures and farm acreage, with many meadows and mountain sunsets for your viewing pleasure. Stroll alongside the pastures and make memories walking the old railroad tracks in the forest beyond. Nearby attractions include vineyards, restaurants, golf courses, hikes, ocean, cafes and pubs within a half hour drive. The Strawberry Cottage is situated under the North Mountain in the Annapolis Valley. It features a semi open concept main floor, with the 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. Furnished with super cute strawberry details, as it sits nearby the strawberry fields of the family farm. Enjoy the songbirds and the frogs singing on summer nights. Kitchen is complete with fridge, oven/stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and basic condiments. Wifi available and smart TV is equipped with a Netflix account. Guests have access to the whole house. The basement is normally kept locked. If you need access to a washer/dryer, please let us know and we can accommodate, as the washer/dryer are in the basement. You may walk alongside the horse pastures, but please do not enter them or feed the horses. There are also walking trails behind the farm fields in the woods. Hostess may be around the horse pastures during lunch and supper to care for the horses. Feel free to come and interact if you want to chat or pet the horses with the hostess. You may message the host via Airbnb if you have questions during your stay. Somerset is a quaint farm community between the town of Berwick and the Bay of Fundy. The ocean is a ten minute drive and a fabulous place to enjoy the worlds highest tides, bonfires, and beautiful sunsets. The best way to get around would be via a vehicle. The Strawberry Cottage is about 1 hour from Halifax, 30 minutes from Wolfville and 20 minutes from Greenwood.
