This delightfull-decorated, modern, 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is the best of beachfront life in Ecuador. Tucked away in a quiet Pacific fishing village, you could easily live here without a car. Set on an exotic Pacific beach near to restaurants & local markets. This house, specifically designed for fishing enthusiasts and their families, has been recently renovated. While we made it clean and modern, we kept the charm and functionality of for those who love beach life and love to fish. The entire home is available to the guest. Your host will give you a tour so you are familiar with all the working parts and opportunities. There are no stairs or walking barriers in this home. I plan to give me guests a walking tour of the house when they arrive and I will meet them when they leave. I live about 10 minutes away in Pto. Cayo, and I am available for question or home concerns. This home is in an older, traditional neighborhood on the "malecon" or beachfront road of the fishing village of Pto. Cayo. Our village is in the midst of a Renaissance, so many of the older homes are under renovation. The Ecuadorian government is investing in new plumbing and roads and tourism facilities, so it is lots of fun to see this community improve every day. Pto. Cayo's local transportation is "Moto-taxis" - a fun motorcycle ride that will take you anywhere in the neighborhood for a $1. The bus station is within walking distance. Ecuador's buses are efficient and clean and they are designed to take you anywhere in the country very inexpensively. Of course, there are also regular taxis, and you can rent a car in nearby larger cities. Info on how to manage public transportation is included in the home book that is provided. Puerto Cayo is situated next to the Machalilla National Park. Nearby there are many ecotourism, archaeology and water sports opportunities. Information is covered in home book provided.
