Come treat yourself to village life in beautiful Tatamagouche. Our B&B is a walk to it all on Main St. and the Trans-Canada seaside Trail. A great little hub for day trips to other maritime hotspots too, like nearby beaches, wineries, Seafoam Lavendar Farm, Sugar Moon Farm and the quaint communities if Pugwash and Pictou. Complimentary full breakfast. If Covid rules deem it necessary you can prepare breakfast yourself upstairs rooms. Bikes, buggies, kayaks complimentary per night stay :). You will love being able to park your car, snowmobile or ATV here to walk to all village amenities which include galleries, museum, market, chocolaterie, ice cream, brewery, shops and restaurants. Enjoy the outdoors? World class scenic trans-Canada trail is just down the lane. On site is Gran’s Book Shoppe; a great little STEM book and gift shop, board games to play and cool magazines to read! We serve you private breakfast in our inside outside room which we close off for your exclusive use during your stay. Overnight guests have complimentary use of seasonal rental recreational equipment. Your private suite has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and 24 hour access to seating and tables in our “Inside-Out” room. Lovely garden, deck and gazebo yours to enjoy as well. You must climb stairs to access the bedrooms. Mary serves you breakfast and enjoys chatting with guests (with mask and at a social distance when inside) and making holiday suggestions. Mary is also sometimes available to serve as a local guide. Prebook for this please. We have an incredible location! We are next door to the Train Station Inn, and across the road from the licensed restaurant Big Al’s. We host our own little gift shop, Gran’s Book Shoppe, which specializes in Field guides, STEM books, games and toys. There is a Needs store on the Corner and an Art Gallery directly opposite us. The Trans-Canada Trail is less than a minute’s walk away and if you arrive this way via snowmobile or ATV you can drive right in via the trail access behind Big Al’s. Lots of other amenities walkable including Subway, Derado’s Pizzaria, Tipperary Cafe, Appleton Chocolates, Grace Jollymore Centre and Tatamagouche Brewery. Park your vehicle here and walk! The village is lovely and in winter the sidewalks are plowed. Snowmobilers will be able to enter right into our lot. In summer there are also pedal buggies, bikes and kayaks to borrow from here. Borrow snowshoes in winter! This B&B, our chalet at Angevine Lake, Gran’s Book Shoppe and equipment rental outlet comprise the Social Enterprise, “Remember Adventures”. Our cause is a concern about global biodiversity decline. We serve primarily organic food and cater to special diets. There is a pollinator meadow demonstration project onsite with lots of well spaced outdoor seating and in summer - Hummingbirds!!! Also an 8 acre Dragonfly reserve at the Lake.
