Beautiful Light-Filled Cabin in the Woods

Escape away to this tranquil, airy, light-filled cabin nestled amongst the trees with all the amenities you need for comfort. Relax by the fireplace with a book or watch movies while surrounded by gorgeous view. Stay home and cook or visit one of the delicious restaurants nearby. The cabin is close to many beautiful and scenic mountain hikes, antique shops and restaurants on Lake Dr and only 20 mins to Lake Arrowhead. Be sure to stop at Santa's Village, recently upgraded and expanded. The home consists of a master bedroom with queen size bed. The second bedroom has been set up as a creative quiet space to draw, paint, write, read or work. It includes a twin size daybed that can be used to sleep a 3rd person if needed. The bathroom has been completely updated with new fixtures, and flooring. The large living room with high ceilings and large windows gets tons of light and a sliding door that leads onto a private back deck with a wooden picnic table and benches to enjoy morning coffee or outdoor meals. The living room has a gas fireplace with ceramic logs, Apple TV and an auto-technica record player with a bluetooth speaker. You're welcome to bring your own favorite LPs, listen from the collection already there or link your phone to hear your own playlist. We also have a small selection of books and puzzles/board games. The kitchen is stocked with all you need: a coffee maker, coffee, sugar, and tea, pots and pans, plates and bowls, silverware, a toaster, a Brita for water, can opener, wine glasses, and a wine opener. There's also a dining table with four chairs. There is WiFi as well as a landline, and central heating. There is no A/C but there are two fans provided. There is also parking on the front deck for two cars. There is a orange book full of restaurant, shop, and entertainment recommendations, as well as a guide to using the house. Please note the downstairs section of the house is kept lock and therefore is unavailable for guest use. Best to drive your car to all points of interest. If needed though there is a mid size bus service. Parking is easy and free. This is a self check-in home. This cabin is in the town of Crestline, which is nestled in the San Bernardino mountains. It is about a 30 min drive from the base of the mountain up to the house, so please keep this in mind.
