Millennium Connection -MAROON ROOM
Welcome to Millennium Connection guest house and to our Maroon Room. We are located just 3 minutes walk from the main wharf & beach, centrally perched just above the main road up a private concrete walkway. You cannot miss the orange buildings!! At our place you would find all rooms named after various cultural events on our island. We strive to showcase and maintain various aspects of our island's culture and heritage while offering you a very local, authentic and home like experience!! The Maroon room is a private bedroom with en suite bathroom within our guest house facility. We strive to create a very beautiful and simple decor that clearly showcases our themes of culture and traditions of the island. The room has hot and cold shower, air conditioning and guests have access to the communal lounge, the gazebo and kitchen facilities. We provide laundry services if needed and there is smart television in the lounge with many international channels. we are very welcoming and we strive to make our place your home away from home while you vacation. Guests have access to the kitchen areas, the communal lounge and the outside patio and breakfast gazebo. Your host Iesha Odinga is based between the island of Grenada and Petite Martinique so sometimes you would not meet her in person. However, when she is not there her cousin Paulanna works full time at the guest house and she is there from 8.30 am until 5.30 pm from Monday to Friday and on Saturdays a little later on. Paulanna is just as resourceful and welcoming and she would take care of guests. Once Iesha is there she is at the guest house daily except for Sundays. Our neighborhood is close to everything and easily accessible to the main road, there is a grocery shop and bar downstairs on the premises and everyone on the island knows each other. As you walk out the road you would not get lost because you would meet friendly people who are willing to assist and give directions to the many little bars, grocery shops and snack shops nearby. There are a few taxi services but the island is quite small and you can get almost anywhere in no time by feet. However, if you need to take a taxi we can easily arrange that for you. There is a supermarket on the premises that is opened Mondays to Saturdays from 8.00 am until 5.30 pm but like many other places on the island it is closed on Sundays, so we suggest doing purchases within those times and in advance for Sundays.
