Bella Vista Cottage

Charlotteville is off the beaten path and approximately 1.2hrs from the Tobago Airport. The cottage sits on a steep hillside, a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and the quaint fishing village. From the cottage, you can hear the waves and enjoy a panoramic view, absolutely breath-taking (ocean, village, rainforest). The cottage sits on an acre of lush garden amidst tropical flowers, and fruit trees. The location is ideal for bird watching - parrots, humming birds, cocrico (Tobago's national bird) etc, snorkeling and diving! Dive shop in walking distance. The kitchen features a full size fridge freezer, microwave, full gas cooker with oven, electric kettle, electric coffee maker and toaster. The kitchen, living room, dining and bedroom area all open onto the large deck. Mosquito net is provided. Parking is available at the entrance of the property right off Windward Road. Although your reservation includes cleaning keep it tidy at all times. There are cleaning tools available for your use. Additional and extra cleaning services at a cost. NO SMOKING or open flames allowed in and around the property - it is wooden! Potential for noise: Due to the elevated location of the cottage and amphitheatre shaped hills sounds will travel. There are churches, music lovers, occasional village fests, birds etc that will be audible during days and nights. You can often find myself or family on the property adjacent to the cottage. From provided hammocks, listen to the waves lapping the shore or watch the pelicans play in the Caribbean Sea. Stroll through the village, pick up fresh produce / seafood from vendors. Hike or take a boat to Pirate’s Bay and swim/snorkel in the crystal clear waters. Paradise! In the evenings, unwind on the deck with your favourite beverage and look out for the Big Dipper over the Caribbean Sea!
