Short drive to Freeport & Portland. This colorful, unique and spotless gem is a perfect and extraordinarily comfortable place to stay while in Brunswick & surrounding area! In the summer the garden is lush and colorful; in the winter the barn is super cozy with heated bathroom floors! Our space is unique because of its prime location in town, yet quiet and private, and the brand new & renovated barn, originally designed & decorated in exquisite taste, make this an experience to remember. The whole barn apartment, (1400 sq. ft. divided on two levels with "open" floor plan solution. Lots of light and air) and its private entrance, is for you only, and our lovely garden and patio with many places to lounge is for your enjoyment too! We are always available in either person or via phone/text for assistance and/or recommendations. We respect our guests' privacy. We love that it is a friendly and residential neighborhood, yet two blocks from everything our great little town has to offer. Town green, Wild Oats bakery and cinema just at the end of our street! Bus and train station to/from Boston just a short walk away! We walk to most everything in town, and drive or bike to go to the ocean or woodlands, also all right here in Brunswick. There is bus service (Concord Bus) from Brunswick to Logan Airport, a couple times a day, otherwise every hour from Portland. The garden and patio are shared spaces for guests and hosts. You are free to enjoy the grounds but we ask that you respect the calm and serene surroundings we strive to create here. Pick yummy cherry tomatoes off the vine, find a strawberry to enjoy or lounge in the chaise long. It's all there for your pleasure. If you visit in cooler climates, we have generous sheepskins to put out on the chairs to keep you warm and cozy. We also provide a wireless printer in our work space area and excellent wifi speed. Are you more than 2 people? Please note that the space can accommodate 1 extra person—adult or child—with a comfy twin floor mattress and half bath on the first floor, but that this living area is not separated from the upstairs bedroom area with a door, just stairs. This may make it work for some (like a family with a child) but not for 3 adults who prefer privacy. There is a $25 extra fee for the third person. We provide coffee, tea and some breakfast items and snacks to welcome you, and you will find everything (and more!) of what you'll need of cooking essentials. Please also note that there is a TV with DVD player (and a stack of good movies) as well as wifi TV box (so you can access your Netflix, Amazon Prime etc), but no cable TV. Finally, since our barn apartment is also for personal use, there are items like clothes, photos, books. But no worries, there will always be ample space for your things, with both hanging, shelf and drawer space, as well as luggage racks and storage closets. We are neat and organized and the space is not cluttered. We want our guests to feel at home and comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out.
