Sweet House was completely renovated in the summer of 2016 with a new fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, tiles and ceiling insulation throughout which allows both keeping the heat out and the cool air in. New high quality burglar free doors and windows have been installed in June 2017. It has a child friendly pool, salt chlorinated, with a gate. And it is located on a private fenced lot away from the main road with a nice surrounding garden that allows children to play in tranquility, yet 2 minutes away by foot from the supermarket and the marina and 7 from the fantastic Jolly beach. A large wooden terrace surrounds the pool and is also gated for safety. A long driveway permits parking of up to 3 cars easily. The house is equipped with a high quality dishwasher, washing machine, gas barbecue, gas stove and all the small appliances one could expect in a house. High quality Daiking A/C units throughout are available. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom while the 2 other bedrooms share the second bathroom. High Caribbean ceilings and an open living room concept offer a nice enjoyable breezy feeling. Sweet House is ideally situated - only 2 minutes walking distance to one of the main grocery stores and numerous fine restaurants featuring both international and local cuisine, car rental, bars, club, spa, golf course and general shopping, while a further 5 minutes afoot gets you to one of the nicest beaches in Antigua with amazing west-facing sunsets over the splendid turquoise Caribbean sea. Four of the best Antiguan beaches are also within 5 minutes driving distance from the house. The main road is a minute's walk and there are bus services to St John's and other destinations. It is the perfect place to spend amazing vacation with friends and family in a very comfortable and private house. Sweet House is a registered and certified rental accommodation. It is listed in the ABTA website under the name "Peach House Ltd". Some guests may wish to consider travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage for accommodations as well as flights depending on specific airline policies regarding flight cancellations to mitigate local or international changes in travel conditions.
