Pond Side is a cozy 2 bedroom cabin nestled between the hills of the Viking Trail on a beautiful waterfront lot on Bonne Bay Pond. You are just steps from your deck to a private beach with access to launch water craft. Fit pit with lots seating as well. Located 6 km from south entrance to Gros Morne National Park. 26 km from Deer Lake. Pond Side is on Old Bonne Bay Pond Rd 1200 ft from the Viking Trail, Route 430. Perfectly centred to explore both north & south sides of Gros Morne Park. Pond Side is a 5 minute drive to the south entrance of Gros Morne National Park. Nature's playground is waiting to welcome you! Spend your full day at Pond Side cozy cabin enjoying what Bonne Bay Pond has to offer. Biking the back roads, swimming in the refreshing water, strolling along the beach skipping rocks, canoeing, kayaking or just relax, read your favorite book and listen to nature. In the evening enjoy a campfire and watch the evening sun disappear in the hills. The perfect ending to the perfect day! You won't be disappointed! Your Hostess are next door readily available. Guests have access to the cabin and large private waterfront lot Deck with table and four chairs, rocking chair Propane BBQ (Full Size) Fire pit with seating: two benches as well as four folding chairs Sheltered area with hammock overlooking the pond as well as two two Adirondack chairs, two lounging chairs and a tree swing for children While guests have total privacy during their stay at Pond Side I am often available in person if need be or always available by text or email, which I respond to very promptly. Very quiet private location, located on waterfront on large body of water suitable for launching watercraft including larger power boats, kayaks or any water toys. Very peaceful with wonderful views all around you. Once you arrive at Pond Side there is a large space for parking. No Smoking No Parties or Events Not Suitable for Hunters Blankets and towels for inside use. Not to be taken to beach or campfire. Firewood provided by host. We love pets but we keep the cabin pet-free for the benefit of our guests with allergies. Laundry facilities are available in Deer Lake, Wiltondale and Rocky Harbour.
