Simple, Spacious, Serene. Ideal place if you have a long layover and need a clean, comfortable and peaceful space to rest. Close proximity to Piarco Airport (<7 mins driving distance). If you need a comfortable place to rest at night after spending a day out adventuring, this is the ideal home away from home experience you would appreciate. This is my recently purchased home and I am happy to share my space with honest, easy-going and like-minded travellers. I am new to hosting and am constantly updating the space to make it better. A mere 7 minutes from the airport this is the ideal place to spend an overnight layover or if you are preparing for an early morning flight. You can do laundry, cook a meal, have a shower and feel comfortable and relaxed. I am willing and available to guide you on local attractions and can also refer you to amazing and reputable local tour guides. Quiet, serene, breezy. Laundromat, grocery, bar and fast food all within walking distance. And delicious roti too :) Our neighbouring backyard is a breezy savannah that attracts many birds who are happy to serenade you at dawn. We've also spotted a few mongoose and a variety of frogs. If you are up to a short climb, above the laundry room is a beautiful spot to capture the sunset on evenings. Relatively easy access to public transportation. You can also hire a TT ride-share (though this service is quite new to Trinidad). I can drive you around if I'm available. Airport pick up and drop off (if required) at an additional cost I'm more than happy to tell you about my country and make suggestions on how to maximise your stay. I am affiliated with reputable and knowledgeable certified tour guides (with whom I often adventure myself) that can make your experience memorable. I intend to acquire Tour Guide certification in the near future. But for now, I can take you to the places that I enjoy such as hiking trails, nature parks and other tourist attractions. Occasionally, I even experience new places with visitors to our island.
