Succurro : Apartment

This listing is for our private 1-bedroom apartment at the back of the main house. The apartment has a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, lofted bedroom, and private entrance. The living room is large enough to act as both lounge space, and host a second bed area. This apartment is perfect for personal getaway, for a family or friends seeking a unique and quiet respite. We look forward to meeting you! Succurro is a holistic health care facility, that seeks to provide space for regenerating our humanity and reclaiming a right to health. In addition to trainings, workshops, and events, we offer time and space away. This comes in the form of programs, or simply renting an apartment, tent or room here. For renters, healing sessions are an option - you may see more about what we do at our website (search: Succurro New York). There are 110 acres for guests to wander, as long as they are respectful of the land. There is a meandering stream to sit by, and several fire pits for use -- firewood is available for a small fee, please just ask us when you arrive. Please note that you will not need firewood for the indoor fireplace, as it runs on gas. We live here full time, so you will see us around. We are happy to spend time or leave you to do your own thing. East Meredith is a sleepy town, but we are 15 minutes from Delhi, Oneonta, Bloomville, and Bovina - which all have wonderful restaurants and shops. Cooperstown is also about 40 minutes away. Car is the only option for traveling in and around East Meredith area. It is possible to get to the area by bus from NYC (Port Authority) to Delhi or Oneonta, and for a small additional fee we are happy to pick you up there if you wish to be car-free. We have a few dogs, who are all friendly. Oki lives in the house, and Lupa is a livestock guard dog that lives with the goats.
