'Tropical Island Rentals' would like to introduce this stunning private residence which is set in almost two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens at the heart of Barbados' renowned Sandy Lane Estate. The villa faces west and overlooks the 8th hole of the famous golf course. Only a short walk down the 9th fairway, past the Old Nine Clubhouse & Hotel Tennis courts, and across the road is the main entrance to The Sandy Lane Hotel and the Sandy Lane Property Owners beach facility on the island's finest west coast beach. The villa offers total privacy in its very quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac behind electric gates. Its contemporary interior design blends natural and vibrant colours with spacious indoor and outdoor living areas make it the ideal holiday home for a large family or group of friends. The main villa comprises of four double bedrooms, three are en-suite and they all are air-conditioned with ceiling fans. The master suite has a king "Tempur" four-poster, a private balcony, a dressing room, and a bathroom with a separate shower. All bathrooms feature baths and separate showers. A spacious open plan living and dining room, with seating for 8 people, opens onto a sizable covered patio, overlooking the swimming pool and gardens, with further lounge seating and a 10/12 seat dining area for enjoying al fresco meals. A further poolside dining table seats 6. A fully equipped, modern kitchen with granite work surfaces and stainless steel appliances and a separate air-conditioned TV room with satellite television and DVD player completes the main house. Guests at the villa can enjoy relaxing around the beautiful Japanese mosaic pool and jacuzzi, and the pool has the added benefit of being low chemical. Two gazebos around the pool area, one with a bar and one with bathroom and shower facilities, ensure you have all you need to spend an uninterrupted day by the pool. ​ The beautiful Sandy Lane beach is just a few minutes drive away (its less than 0.5 miles) or approx 10 mins walk and guests have membership to the Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach Facility with parking, restrooms, a bar, sun loungers & shades will be provided free of charge by friendly staff. The whole residence is child-friendly and under 6s are welcome but should be accompanied by a nanny or specified carer. Your rental includes the services of a cook and housekeeper service. Please note the cost of groceries is not included in the price. However, we can arrange to have your initial groceries delivered to the property for your arrival. This would be payable directly to our local house managers. For groups of 9 to 12 people, there is a separate self-contained 2 bedroom (air-conditioned) cottage with its own kitchen area and patio at the bottom of the garden. There is a 6-7 day quarantine period pending return of test results after testing on Day 5. 24hr security is required during this period. The Barbados Government refuses passenger entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination or based on flight origin). 2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Barbados that prevents a guest from travelling. 3. A level 4 CDC Warning or Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Barbados must exist. Please note your own travel/trip insurance is still required to cover all other kinds of cancellation including if you or a member of your group tests positive for Covid-19 before or during your trip. Tropical Island Rentals, the local house managers and the owners of the properties will not be responsible for any costs relating to the testing of guests while on the island. Refunds will not be applicable to anyone testing positive for COVID-19, which will result in them and their party not being able to travel or not able to continue to stay at the property booked if a positive test result is received in Barbados.
