Visit one of Annapolis oldest neighbourhoods. Access to the water and on low tides a sandy beach that you can walk. Lily pad is a great place to play cards, laugh and make memories. Please review some reviews, We have minor complaints about the house being close to the road. After all it was built 300 years ago. Consider this prior to booking. You get the entire use of Lilly Pad Cottage - private bath, kitchen, office, bedroom, etc. Plus enjoy the patio and chairs on the waterfront in your backyard. If you’re a bit more adventurous take the day and go whale watching on Digby neck - it’s an experience you’ll never forget. Kejimkujik park is about 45 minutes away and has amazing bike and canoe trails. Be sure to check out the local micro brew and distillery if libations are part of your trip. Above all, unplug and relax to the sound of the river. This is rural Nova Scotia- so a car is your best bet to venture out and about. Biking is also a wonderful way to see the area.
