The Dumaine House, year round facility offering rental to groups, families or just a couple for a night or two.This prestine house is set back on 43 acres of beautiful Vermont woodland in the southern Vermont Village of Jacksonville. Our home,enchanted by the summer's cool clear days, the autumn's brilliant colors and the winter's quiet snowfall, offers a quaint, peaceful group living facility. Located on VAST trail. Great place for any kind of groups or families! Very spacious with 8 bedrooms, 4 living room spaces, large 84” 3 wood stoves, pond to skate on in the winter, campfire pit in the summer. We host many families, friends, 12 Step Recovery groups, Boy Scouts, Venture groups, college ski and governmental groups, work retreats, and so much more. Summer months are greeted with several local lakes. Winter brings the snow and skiers & boarders. The fall foliage is a treat of amazing color to see up here in the mountains! We have a large room for gathering, presentations, or watching movies/gaming on the 84” screen, a game room with pool, ping pong and air hockey, a pond for ice skating in the winter and even a small chapel. We are located right on the VAST snowmobile trail, with easy access. Your visit here promises to be just what you were looking for, we have a bit of everything! The house is totally accessible to guests, except private sleeping quarters for owners. We are always available on site for any of your needs, but always respect your space. We have an office that we are in during the day and sleeping quarters in the overnight hours. We are always here, your silent partner for your stay. Located on a dead end road on the side of the mountains in the quaint town of Jacksonville VT. The Moover is a bus service available for public transportation. This is a local bus service that picks up/returns in Jacksonville twice a day. Connections available to Wilmington, the Dover’s, Brattleboro and Bennington. We are ACA certified... handicap accessible
