Casa La Aventura is a new, rustic and ecofriendly guesthouse located in Popoyo, close to one of Nicaragua's most famous surf spots. You can find this property in the middle of Guasacate road, a two minutes walk to the beach. Made out of wood and bamboo, all the design is inspired by our travels and personal taste. Casa La Aventura provides a peaceful place full of plants, craftsmanship and chill out areas where you can relax and feel easily connected to Nature. There is a guard 24h a day. The Bamboo House is a concept and design we brought from Indonesia. A structure built with local bamboo and a roof made of palm leaves. The house provides a double bed and a fan, a private shower, and a restroom. You have a private chill-out area outside with hammocks where you can relax and have dinner. You also have access to an outside shower and restroom made out of local handmade bricks and bamboo. All the guests have access to an equipped and shared kitchen with an outside area to sit and enjoy the shade of the Tamarindo tree. There is also WIFI for your convenience. We hope you will enjoy the area and all Nicaragua has to offer as much as we do. No matter which season you come, either you are a beginner or a experienced surfer, you will always find a good wave for you. The Popoyo's break is a 10 minutes walk from La Aventura. You also have a few beach breaks right in front and many more surf spots to explore in the area. You can also just walk on the beach and enjoy natural tide pools and amazing sunsets. A few km north of Guasacate there is a unique beach called Chacocente where you can observe thousands of turtles laying their eggs in clutches. Next to the property, you can find a very good local restaurant called La Perla. Everyday, street vendors stop by selling fruits and veggies and some local dishes and natural juices. Within walking distance, you have a few restaurants, a cafe, a couple of grocery stores, surf rental shops and surf lessons, a motorcycle rental shop, yoga classes, horseback riding and more. From Managua, you can take a taxi or rent a car. You can also take a bus to Rivas bus station and from there another one to Las Salinas. Daily buses go to Rivas. From there you can easily move around to Granada, Managua, Catarina, Ometepe Island, to the costa rican border or to most of the touristic areas. You also have taxi options from Popoyo. Roads to playa Guasacate and other nearby beaches are mostly dirt roads. Hire a motorbike is the best way to enjoy all the surf spots around.
