Tecolapa Farm and Beach

Beautiful virgin and secure beach on the coast of Managua and Carazo. Wooden, cozy, beach front house perfect for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a trip with friends. Accomodates up to 6 people. Two story high wooden house with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There´s a balcony on the second floor, so you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the main bedroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen, A/C in every room, hammocks and chairs so you can hang out on the terrace. Whole house including exterior dining area, beach and Tecolapa River. Tecolapa and the house are located north of La Boquita, where the 2014 StandUp Paddle Surfing World Championship took place. Look up SUP Surfing World Championship 2014, so you get a sense of the waves in the area. It is south of Pochomil, which is another great surfing beach. The ocean at Tecolapa is great for swimming. About 700 meters away from the house is the river, where it is safe to swim for children and toddlers. A local public market, supermarket and other amenities are on offer at the nearby town of San Rafael del Sur. The Barcelo Montelimar resort is also located nearby, where there is a gaming casino and all-you-can-eat and drink restaurant. There's a disco and restaurants in Pochomil if you want to go out dancing on weekends or enjoy the sunset. In order to get to Tecolapa from the airport you need to rent a car or hire a taxi in Managua. Search Tecolapa Beach House in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. Drive south and take Carretera Vieja a Leon. Next take the road towards Montelimar and Pochomil. Arrive at Pochomil and keep driving passed Pochomil Viejo. You will arrive at Comarca Loma Alegre and after Tecolapa River you will find a blue gate to your right. Enter the gate, you have arrived at Tecolapa Farm. Gilberto will let you know how to get to the beach. We can also take you there and back for an additional fee, ask about it! Tecolapa is located one and a half hours away from the capital city of Managua, where the international airport is located. Transport via taxi is readily available. We suggest you rent a 4x4 vehicle. Since the house is located on a virgin beach surrounded by nature, you might encounter turtles, crabs, bats, lizzards, etc. Don´t worry they´re friendly.
