The entire place is fenced in with mesh for security. A wide, cool place, with vegetation where you can enjoy watching different types of birds. Very private, despite being close to the main commercial premises. A cool pool sheltered by the shade of trees where you can rest quietly, or get ready to enjoy a rest in a hammock. The entire area is available to guests. There is a person in charge of taking care of the site and cleaning it. Being an area far from the capital, we will rarely be available for personal contact. It is a rural town, very well located due to its proximity to the famous Corcovado National Park, several very clean rivers, beaches, cocoa plantations, where you can take tours and observe its manufacture, as well as the production of coconut oil. There are several small restaurants where you can eat fresh fish, go to several beaches where whale watching tours are held at two times of the year (from August to October and from January to March) especially to the Golfo Dulce where whales like to have their young and wait until they are in a position to make long runs. The main road that leads to the town of La Palma is in excellent condition, and you can travel by small vehicle, if you want to go to more distant places, such as the town of Guaimí, you need a 4-wheel drive car. There is bus service from the capital San José and between Puerto Jiménez and La Palma. You can travel by plane to the Puerto Jiménez or Golfito airport and from there by passenger boat to Puerto Jiménez and then to La Palma At certain times of the year the rain is intense, which does not detract from its charm.
