Conveniently located just minutes away from Churchill Downs, downtown Louisville, Fair and expo center, decadent restaurants and exciting nightlife! Whether you're here for the Derby, Bourbon Trail, or just visiting the city, our house creates the perfect setting for an excellent KY expierence. Welcome to our home in Murray Hill. A beautiful older neighboorhood rich with history and nature. Our home sits across from the original Murray log cabin built in 1790. The land was given to Dr. Murray by George Washington after his service during the revolutionary war. Our home is truly unique and is sure to be a show stopper for you and all of your guests the moment you walk into the front doors. This 3800 sq ft completely open floor plan includes dramatic 2 story walls full of large windows w/remote controlled shades and a 15ft sliding glass door overlooking the beautiful backyard and saltwater inground pool. Though only equipped with 3 bedrooms + basement, our home offers plenty of extra space for additional guests if desired. The main living room has just been fitted with brand new powered Italian leather recliners and couch (More comfortable than most beds). The den has a deep sitting L sectional that can also be used as an additional crash pad. Directly attached is a large eat in kitchen that offers the perfect space to make a delicious meal or sip on a warm cup of coffee from the fully stocked Kuerig. Directly off the kitchen opens up to a beautiful fully fenced in back yard complete with covered back porch with custom bourbon barrel gas firepit and enough new patio seating for a small crowd. While outside, take a dip in the silky smooth SALTWATER pool and hot tub. The house also has a fully functional Keggerator that can be made available if desired and a wine refrigerator that can be stocked with KY native wines upon arrival for a nominal fee. The basement has just been finished out and will appeal to any Bourbon aficionado. If you're a sports fan or a movie junkie, take a seat in front of the 130in projector and get ready for some high definition action. We're constantly renovating our home so pictures may change after your booking. Full house access except for 2 closets, basement utility room and garage. Pool is open May 1st - October 1st. Hottub open until Dec Ist. Basement is freshly finished complete with theater projector and bourbon bar. We'll personally welcome guests when arriving to our home. Phone accessible for assistance during the duration of your stay. We're here to help in anyway we can to make sure your trip goes smoothly and are happy to offer our extensive knowledge of Louisville and Derby related events. Arrangements can also be made to have the kitchen stocked with food and beverage of your choice upon arrival! Our neighborhood has beautiful paved walking paths throughout and is a great place to stretch those legs and catch some fresh air. Uber and Lyft are regularly available. The 4th bedroom is actually the basement. If you're group needs additional beds, We have a new Queen size bed that can be set up before your arrival. There is also a very comfortable convertible Serta sleeper couch that will sleep 2 more in the same area.
