Bean Loft is located in a charming 1870's building on Main Street in downtown Prescott. Steps from restaurants, pubs, antique stores and a boat marina. There is plenty of sleeping room for groups, an office, large living room and full kitchen outfitted with everything to prepare and serve a meal. Bean loft is located in one of the oldest buildings in Prescott. Originally built in 1871 as a saloon and hotel, the building has had many tenants over the years; a bar, photography studio and jewelry store. Rumor has it that it also housed a brothel at the turn of the century! We completed a total renovation of the second floor loft in 2019. You’ll have exclusive use of all 1,200 square feet. The bathroom has a large shower, a nice hairdryer and is stocked with individual sized shampoo, conditioner and soap. Candid drawbacks to the space are steeps stairs (loft is on 2nd floor). From a sound standpoint, trains running adjacent to downtown Prescott can be heard and a small pub courtyard next door where they play live folk and acoustical music during summer. Typically the music winds down by 10pm. These are all typical sounds in a city setting. The bedrooms are located in the rear of the property away from the street and train path. You’ll have access to the entire second floor apartment, with dedicated private parking in the back. We live just a few blocks away. Call or text for anything! Ten restaurants and bars right in town. Explore local artists at Orange Dragon Art Gallery or shop at one of several charming home decor and antique shops. 2 blocks from Point Douglas Regional trail, a new two mile walking and bike route connecting Prescott WI and Hastings MN. 2 Blocks from Public Boat launch, Leo's Landing, Miss-Croix Yacht Harbor. Rent a boat for the day at Prescott Boat Rentals or set out on a hike on the Point Douglas Regional Trail which connects downtown Hastings and Prescott as well as other city county and regional state trail systems. Freedom Park, a three minute drive, offers stunning views of the Saint Croix, extensive hiking trails and an interesting educational center. Getting to Prescott is best accessed by car. Lyft and Uber do service our area, but only prescheduled trips. Impromptu ride service is spotty and not recommended. Once in town it is easy to walk to all restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Many fun places are just a short drive from town: 5 minutes from multiple boat marinas on the Saint Croix & Mississippi.
