Antigua Oceanna Oasis near Turners Beach House #1

This listing is situated on Simon Road at Johnson's Point Village, St.Mary's Parish, Antigua. Antigua Oceanna Oasis is a beautiful comfortable two bedroom house situated on the South western side of the island less than ten minutes walk to Turners Beach. Rent- a-cars are available upon arrival at the VCBird International Airport. The exchange for US currency US$1 = EC$2.65-2.70. The Village Supermarket is less than 5 minutes walk south of the house and opens from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The larger Epicurean Supermarket at Jolly Harbour is approximately 10 minutes by bus EC$2.50. One can walk to three restaurants close to my place. Even though the beaches are just the beginning of a memorable vacation in Antigua, our guests can expect to visit historic sites, take advantage of a variety of tours. Also just a short distance away, Fig Tree Drive, Cades Reef (for Snorkeling enthusiasts/kyaking) and the famous Mount Obama and so much more Additionally ,on the South Western side of Antigua, guests will experience exciting entertainment at the Sugar Club in Sugar Ridge Hotel. They can enjoy the food and drinks in St. Mary's Parish at my favourite restaurants which include, Turners at Turners Beach in Johnson's Point, OJ's at Crabbes Hill Beach, Dennis's at Little Fryes and Fryes Bay Beaches, The Nest at Valley Church Beach, The Crow's Nest and Akropolis in Jolly Harbour as well as the Sea Grape at Curtain Bluff Resort in Old Road. Please note that rates remain the same for peak periods such as New Years and Carnival season. The first Monday and Tuesday of August marks the end carnival celebrations (with J overt morning the first Monday jump-up and the judging as well as parading of mass troups Tuesday). If you need assistance with cleaning and meal preparations we can assist at a cost to you. Also, if you need assistance with securing transportation and/or car rental arrangements for your stay, assistance with these services are available. My place is uniquely equipped to accommodate adults and not suitable for toddlers and pets. While the air condition is in use, Guests can close the windows and doors to escape any unwanted sounds. The community is complete with its hospitable and generous people. Throughout the year, there are many activities. The guests will have free access to beaches, boat rides, water sports, carnival, sea food festivals, social activities, restaurants, concerts etc. We recognize that our guests are on vacation to relax in private. After our introduction, we expect that the guests can ask unlimited questions of us as their hosts. We are available so long as the guests request our presence. First time visitors can request and receive our guidance and assistance with activities such as planned tours and visits to nearby beaches. Repeat visitors on the other hand may be less receptive of our constant involvement. My neighborhood is not overcrowded and is very safe. At nights the street lights are bright and the community is generally quiet. Our guests should experience the warmth and generosity which will be evident through interaction with the villagers. One can get around using the bus, taxi or rent-a-car. For site seeing, the rent-a-car is the best option. Snorkeling gears, lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent at Turners beach. Even though the government uses fogging trucks to help to control mosquitoes throughout the island, you will need to use a mosquito repellant at dust in the evening and dawn during the morning whenever you are outside the house. When inside the house, a bug spray can be used to get rid of mosquitoes from under the bed and closts/cupboards, dark spaces inside.
