Our Apartment is modern, 3 bedrooms; each with a private bathroom. We are 1/4 block from the main entrance into Barahona, Calle Cassandra Damiron; We are excited to meet our guests! This Bedroom has 2 beds and a private bathroom adjacent the room. Smoking is allowed Outside Only. Television en la sala, Cocina, Salón / Comedor, ( Lavadora, planta baja en casa de los propietarios.) Television in the living room, Kitchen, Living room/Dining room, (Washer, downstairsin owners home.) We are on-site and more than happy to help with all of your needs or to sit and chat. We also respect your privacy... This is a close-knit residential neighborhood with families. in the immediate neighborhood we have colmados to buy treats and essentials and in the evening a young man sells yummy homemade empanadas 1/4 block away. The University (USAD) is a 5 minute drive away and there is a Track and Field area close by where free aerobic classes are held in the evening and early morning and where people go to run and walk… There is a moto-concho parada 1/4 block away.. 25 pesos for a one way trip in Barahona city. There is a Taxi parada around the corner in Back of Jaime Moto Hospital. There are Guaguitas that go to Playa Quemaito, Bahoruco, Cienaga, Playa San Rafael, Paraiso, Cabral, Neyba, Polo, Cachon, Tamayo etc; all little pueblos outside of Barahona. It is fun to hop on a guagua and go on an adventure to any of these little towns... Caribe tours and the Parada de Barahona can take you to Santo Domingo from 6am to 7pm. If you are arriving by BUS, get off at the TEXACO station (a normal stop for all in-coming Buses) at Cassandra Damiron x Tony Mota Ricart. Cross the street of Cassandra Damiron, go 1/4 block north on Tony Mota Ricart to #31... If arriving by car turn left on Tony Mota Ricart from Cassandra Damiron; proceed as above.. Barahona center and Malecon are a few short minutes away. We are about 15 minutes from Playa Quemaito, 30 min from Playa San Rafael and 3.5 hours from Bahia de las Aguilas.. If you need to wash clothes just ask and we are happy to share our washer with you! Si llega en autobús, bajense en la estación TEXACO (una parada normal para toda entrante autobuses) en Calandra Damirón x, Tony Mota Ricart. Cruzen la calle de Casandra Damirón, vaya 1/4 esquina al norte sobre Tony Mota Ricart a # 31 ... Si llega en coche doble a la izquierda sobre Tony Mota Ricart desde Casandra Damirón; proceda de la misma como dice arriba. Centro de Barahona y Malecón están a pocos minutos de distancia. Estamos a unos 15 minutos de Playa Quemaito, a 30 minutos de Playa San Rafael y 3,5 horas de Bahía de las Águilas .. Si tiene que lavar la ropa, pregunte y nosotros estamos dispuestos a compartir nuestra lavadora con usted!
