A modest, yet spacious home less than a minute's walk away from two white sand beaches and a host of restaurants with spectacular views of Young Island, Bequia and the Grenadines. Many local food stalls within 20 metres cater to the local college student population provide budget vegetarian (ital), barbeque, fast food, roti and pilau. Local fish market, small supermarkets and local vegetable stalls in nearby Calliaqua. This is an affordable base to journey to and from the Grenadine islands. Perfect for sightseers to St. Vincent and an ideal base for a students on internship or research study, business travelers and those interested in learning about local culture. Guests have access to bedroom, ensuite bathroom, kitchen, reception room, and porches. I am often away working in the region, in which case my co-host will meet you, show you around the house and be available to assist in any way should you need. We love to share project work we are involved in and can support you with information about community activities in the islands. A residential area with various eateries ranging from local food stalls to beach bars, popular and exclusive restaurants are within a few minutes walking distance. Located just 30 yards away from the Windward Highway, with regular public transport to Kingstown 10 minutes drive away, Arnos Vale shopping centre, 5 mins, and the airport a convenient 15 mins away by bus/taxi. This is a room in a private home. There are many places near by to socialise, but guests are kindly asked to note that the space is available for those booked through airbnb only.
