The Stone House is one of the older homes on Salt Cay. Fully restored this year. Quiet area of South District. Family or couples welcome to come and explore the island and enjoy the marine life, whales, snorkeling, and beach combing, hiking, biking,or just relaxing away from it all. Internet is optional if you really want to get away from it all. Have your coffee watching the sunrise over the Atlantic or a drink watching the sunset over the Columbus Passage, the balcony lets you do both. We pick up and drop off at the Salt Cay airport. Bikes for 6 are included with the rental, or a golf cart can be rented for $75 a day to explore the island. We only rent the property when we are on island, so roughly 4 months a year. We are here to help if anyone needs us. Want to deep sea fish - check with Lionel or Ranfurly, or go clamming with Ranfurly. Snorkeling the reefs is not a long boat ride - just walk in the water as we are surrounded by reefs. Diving is spectacular and a lot of sites are withing a 10 minutes skiff ride from the harbour. Birding - well, the flamingos, herons, egrets are all over the island. Hike or bike to the isolated beaches all around the island. No crowds here . Less than 100 people live here. Biking, hiking, or renting a golf cart by the day or week are how we get around Salt Cay.
