Our Covid19-certified guesthouse “Villa Caribbean Dream” is located in Vieux-Fort, the still undiscovered south of St.Lucia with a view of the wide open Caribbean Sea. On the hill Moule-a-chique, which has the second highest lighthouse in the world above sea level, you have spectacular views over the whole island and it's a perfect opportunity to hike up there in the mornings. Surrounded by a beautiful garden we offer amazing seaviews and onto the famous Piton Mountains. If you would like to experience the Caribbean away from the tourist centers, and if you are interested in the people and their way of life just as much as secluded bays and tropical rain forests, you're likely to find it here. Our main house offers four (4) air-conditioned guest rooms. The rooms share two baths and a small, but completely equipped kitchen. Every room is brightly and airily furnished in a European-Caribbean style, with air-condition and king size or queen size beds. You have the possibility of catering for yourself or enjoying our rich Caribbean breakfast (15.00 USD/pers) as well as our creole dinners (all on request - 15-25.00 USD/pers). The shared living room downstairs is furnished with a dining area. sofa, TV and a small balcony. Everybody is welcome to use the fully equipped shared kitchen. We offer peace and seclusion and a breath-taking view from the sun terrace of our main house of "Villa Caribbean Dream". Since St. Lucia's best wind- and kitesurfing spot is only a 7 min. drive away, we are frequented in particular by kite- and windsurfers. But we also like to welcome nature travelers and people who would like to get to know the local life on this beautiful tropical island. From Vieux-Fort you have good access to all local busses to Castries and Soufriere. The town is a 15 minutes walk away. Ideal would be a rental car, but it is not a necessity. Tours can be arranged by us. In addition to our guesthouse we also offer two separate 1 bedroom-apartments, the “Creole House” and the “Rainbow-Apartment”, which are both under an individual listing. On weekends and holidays there are road BBQ’s everywhere in and around Vieux Fort, serving delicious chicken, fish and pork. Afterwards, you can have some fun in in the local bars and clubs into the early morning. Villa Caribbean Dream is a 8 minutes drive from the international airport (UVF) Hewanorra in Vieux-Fort and 1 hr drive from the small regional airport in the north (SLU)
