Rappahannock River house

Beautiful water views from three sides create a sense of open space. It is peaceful, and now it has fast internet, perfect for working or studying from home. Screened porch and patio with fire pit. Big living room, sunny dining room and kitchen. Restored with mid-century modern furniture. House is at end of a dead-end street in a quiet neighborhood of mixed income housing. There is no water access from this lot, but Carter's Cove Marina is nearby for launching kayaks or mooring your boat. Most of the furnishings were left in the house when we bought it. We had to re-upholster them, but were able to save mid-century modern furnishings, old pictures, old lamps, and many dishes from the era. The entire downstairs, front and back porches, patio, and yard are open to you. More room available by special request. A nearby friend is available if we call him. It is a quiet neighborhood, with restaurants and grocery stores 10 minutes away. There are also wildlife preserves and state parks 20 minutes away, as well as historic sites. No public transportation. The docks nearby are on the neighbor's property. Please do not use them. The large lawn on the southern side of the house belongs to the neighbor. Only park in the driveway or on the street.
