Thomas was an early coal mining, lumber, and railroad town. Many lived in "Company Houses ". Welcome to our version of the Thomas Company House. 3 streets up from Historical Front Street-walk to arts, unique shops, coffee/pastries, dining,and live music at Purple Fiddle. Only 3 miles to Davis, 12 to Canaan Valley. Enjoy the outdoors, you'll love it here in our quaint town-biking,hiking,kayaking,fishing,golfing,sledding/skiing. Did I mention it is peaceful? Look no further and be our Company! Our space includes a small kitchen for cooking your own meals if you wish. We do have amazing resturants however! There is a living area will a futon style couch- sleeps 2. Bathroom space includes a walk- in custom shower. Small desk area for those working. Upstairs you'll find a loft area with queen sized bed- this area is open to below. Our exterior back deck steps off onto a stone patio with small fire pit area(please use caution around the trees). Although you are only walking distance to front street you'll feel like you are in a serene forest! Parking area is large but you will have to walk the rock pathway to get inside the home. Recommend AWD or 4x4 for winter months for entering driveway Please text us if you need anything at all. Car is best for travel to Davis,Canaan, Seneca,Smoke Hole- all nearby spots you'll want to check out. Bikes for mountain biking the amazing trails. Hiking/good walking shoes for trail walks. You can walk to front street from our home. We have a washer/dryer hut(The Company Store) that is shared with other company house guests BBQ Gas grill on deck Slider bathroom door so there is no lock and also has frosted glass Hair dryer please note that we do not provide fire wood- feel free to purchase in the Thomasfire wood hut or at BFS in Davis($5/bundle) *please note we try to provide basics however if you use all of something please replace it with similar item so next guest can enjoy as well - Thanks
