Vossheim on Court: a great location for a getaway

In (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , I renovated this 118 year old three level house to create three new Airbnb offerings. This house is walking distance to downtown within view of the Courthouse clock tower. Vossheim on Court is two floors with three bedrooms, a new bathroom, new half bath and a new high-end kitchen. The decoration is Mid-century Scandinavian. Adding Vossheim Flat and Vossheim Studio provides beds for 10 guests. Each needs to be booked individually. My goal is to host the tourists and visitors who want to enjoy Decorah! In the past three years we have hosted Luther College families, Vesterheim Museum visitors, Seed Savers followers, beer breweries fans, Nordic Fest visitors, shoppers, families who loved the parks for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, Upper Iowa kayaking and canoeing enthusiasts, friends meeting friends, and generally all who wanted a getaway break. Court Street has easy access to Phelps Park, Twin Springs, Dug Road bike trail and the 10 mile loop. Canoe rental is available at Chimney Rock upstream in Blufton. Locally, you can rent near the Decorah campground. Bike rental is easy. Museums are all walking distance away. Our local team can provide wifi assistance. Our reviews will assure you that each apartment is clean and ready for new guests. That is why we have many repeat guests. We enjoy an enviable situation just off the busy street of Broadway with a law firm and two churches on three sides. The middle school students walk home in front of the house but there is very little traffic. Parking is in the two driveways off the street. Five coffee shops are within walking distance. Eight restaurants and a bakery are also within walking distance. Most are on Water Street, the main commercial shopping street. Porter House Museum is one block away and Vesterheim Museum is a five block walk. The Whippy Dip is seven blocks away. Luther College is on the northern edge of town but not more than a five minute drive. My preferred transport in Decorah is by bicycle. We have a garage where you can keep your bikes. There is bike rental shop right around the corner from Water Street next to the Whippy Dip. Our family named and owned the Whippy Dip from (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) so it is dear to my heart. The menu remains the same!!! BBQ sandwiches augment the many amazing sundae toppings. The lines can be long on a hot summer day but it is worth it! Each of the three apartments are private and do not share any space with the other. Each apartment will have it's own porch space that is not visible to each other. The grand landscaping plan will not be finished the summer of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) but outside seating will be available on the front porch and back patio area this summer. Christmas time brings a beautiful fantasy of lights and trees on the porch.
