Our home is an eclectic mix of country chic and western décor and is situated in a clean, quiet neighborhood in this peaceful, rural town. This stand-alone home is fully furnished and equipped for all your needs and is not a shared space. Off-Season Rates Now Available! Fully-furnished with two bedrooms, kitchen, full bath and a homey living room with a queen size pull-out sofa. All new flooring and carpet in 2017. We have two AC units, one in a bedroom, plus a unit in the living room for our guests' comfort. Very neat, tidy and comfortable. Fully-fenced back yard (kid safe) separate from the outside fenced dog run that you are welcome to use, too (no pets allowed inside). Please clean up dog messes before leaving. No barking dogs allowed. Ample parking in the rear as well as on the street. The television is WIFI so you may use your Netflix or any other Internet-based movie site to watch your favorite shows. No cable. Guests have full access to the entire house and backyard. Powell is a small western community. Our home is located in a very quiet neighborhood across the street from the nursing home, hospital, VA Clinic and just blocks away from Northwest College. It’s just a 10 minute walk to downtown for groceries, movies, restaurants, etc. The ambulances do NOT use their sirens in our neighborhood! You are a quick 20 minute drive to the world-famous museums, rodeos, art and other attractions in Cody, WY. It’s only another 52 miles from there to the East Gate of Yellowstone National Park, up the North Fork Highway, dubbed the “most scenic 50 miles in the world” by Teddy Roosevelt. The Northeast Gate at Cook City, MT is about 100 miles (depending on the time of year). Sunlight Basin, the Big Horn Mountains and abundant hunting, fishing and snowmobiling opportunities are all within easy day-trip range of this quiet, comfortable home-base. Skiing is only about an hour away in Red Lodge MT or the Sleeping Giant Ski Area, west of Cody. The home is across the street from Heartland Care Center, the Powell Valley Healthcare Hospital and Powell VA Clinic. Northwest College is blocks away.
