A home like cabin in the village of DeSoto, WI 2 blocks from the banks of the Mississippi River, midway between La Crosse and Prairie du Chien, minutes from Lansing, IA. The area offers numerous activities: year round fishing, hiking, hunting, snowmobile trails, motorcycle riding, bicycling, wineries, breweries, Amish Bakeries. Cabin 5 has a porch swing with a View of the Mississippi River. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance. All new paint inside - 2/22 Our Cabins are fully equipped with everything but your food and drink. We provide towels, linens, sheets, blankets, cookware, pots and pans, silverware; including disposable plates cups and utensils. All new memory foam mattresses and bedding. Full or apartment sized refrigerators, stoves, internet television with new flatscreen smart TV's featuring live channels as well as Roku, Netflix, and other streaming services with your passwords. We have charcoal grills, fire- pits with free will donation provided firewood, there are excellent local bars and restaurants and scenic views everywhere you look. We provide free password protected Hi Speed Internet to all guests. For our guests who fish and hunt, we provide a game / fish cleaning room with freezer space available. Cabins are rented to each party and include two bedrooms, (except Cabin 1 and Main House) a full kitchen, and a private bathrooms with showers. Cabins include all utensils, cooking pots and pans and linens. Bring your food, drinks, your clothes and gear and you are set! We provide a self check in and check out process with our keyless touchpad doors. Owners are available by telephone, property manager and maintenance technician are local and can provide assistance if needed. Bluffs surround this community of friendly outgoing people. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance that are excellent. The property is located two blocks from the Mississippi River, and within 14 minutes of 14 boat launches. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Porks Hilltop Bar to the northeast, and The Brite Spot to the north. Great River Roadhouse and several restaurants in Lansing, Misty’s, Shep’s Riverside, Safe House are a very short drive away. Our place is relaxing and intended to be as comfortable as home.
