Chateau Jacques has furnished apartments for those folks that need a short term rental. These units are mainly rented by traveling nurses, folks in insurance, and people in movie production and have been kept in great condition. Units are two bedroom complete with all your living needs. Apartment complex with long-term residents. Pool & on-site laundry, gated parking. This is a two-bedroom unit on the second floor of a two-story building with keypad access. Large living room with 55" smart TV with integrated Roku, wi-fi, basic cable (upgrades available), central air/heat, separate dining area, laminate flooring, full kitchen with dishwasher, cookware, cooking/eating utensils, dishes, etc, microwave, coffeemaker. Bedrooms have queen beds, sheets/blankets/towels, carpet, and large closets. Our complex was built with New Orleans in mind with just 36 units. We offer an ambiance, wonderful neighbors and a quiet and friendly atmosphere that can’t be beat. Sit in our court yards draped with exotic plant life by day or have a cocktail by the pool at night. Broadmoor/Sherwood Forest neighborhood is safe and tree-lined, with a suburban feel; and our particular location is on Florida Blvd, a commercial district. However we are a gated complex set back from the street so that we are very quiet, peaceful, and almost hidden. Our small apartment complex surrounds an inner courtyard filled with gardens, trees, a lawn, the pool and our laundry facilities. People tell us if feels like a hidden oasis. Florida Blvd gives quick access to groceries, pharmacies, offices, downtown Baton Rouge (15 min), highway access to most major hospitals (10 to 20 min), LSU (15 min), Denham Springs, Mall of Louisiana, Perkins Rowe, and delightful sites to see such as the Old State Capitol/Town Square/River walk, University Lakes, our current state capitol building, and Raising Cane's Center. We recommend visiting the Mid City neighborhood for hip restaurants like White Star Market, Superior Grill, Elsie's Plate & Pie, City Pork, and nightlife like Radio Bar or Red Dragon Listening Room. And downtown Baton Rouge has a wide selection of many great restaurants and bars with live music, on Third Street and the North Blvd/Town Square area (check out Jolie Pearl, and Driftwood Cask & Barrel) Baton Rouge is setup as a "driving city", and we have ample on-site parking in our gated community. Our location is central so it feels like everything is at most about 15 or 20 minutes away.
