Modern Icelandic Cottage with Hot Tub in Gimli

On Amisk Drive in Gimli you'll be just a few minute walk from the beach and Center Street. All the restaurants and pubs in town are no more than a 15 minute walk away. We are on the Snoman trail, you can park your quads in the backyard, and hit the trail for a little adventure. Our covered Hot Tub, outdoor shower, screened Gazebo and outdoor BBQ & Fridge, make our deck a summer or winter oasis! Netflix, Apple+, Disney+, Apple Music, Prime Video all included. You'll have the whole place to yourselves, including the deck and backyard. The hot tub on the deck is great for relaxing soaks, dual BBQ’s, outdoor kitchen with beer fridge makes summer evenings unforgettable! Our latest update, is a convenient outdoor shower on the deck, with hot and cold water! We love it:) There is a Bluetooth Soundbar mounted to the gazebo for hanging out in the hot tub, screened gazebo, deck, or firepit with your tunes! Recently updated patio seating on the deck for your comfort :) Enjoy our included WI-FI, Netflix, Apple+, Disney+, Prime Video, and Apple Music on the 3D 4K TV/Apple TV 4K, with Bose surround sound in the living room. You can easily mirror your device to watch anything on your iPhone or iPad on the TV as well. We offer most appliances and utensils you would need and also cooking essentials. A take one/leave one pantry will provide a rotating selection of random snacks and extras! We have a regular coffee maker as well as a Keurig machine, and a French press. Bring your favourite brand, but there is coffee and tea provided to get you started. Provided are full linens and towels, beds are made up and ready to go, in European style. Just drop your bags and start relaxing! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in bathroom are always stocked up. During the winter season we have an Ice Fishing Shack available upon request! *The Screened Gazebo is now open for the season! Inside and outside - all yours! We provide you a personal keypad door code that will be yours throughout your stay. Codes are deleted when you check out for security. There are steps up to the front door as well as the back deck. We are literally right on the Snoman trail, you can park your sleds in the backyard. In the summer, we are right on the Interlake ATV trail, feel free to bring your quads/side by sides or boats. There is room to park your trailer here and base your lake day or ride! *For the winter season the deck furniture is stored in the screened gazebo and is therefore unavailable for use, however we find it much more comfortable to be in the hot tub when hanging outside in the winter! :)* The barbecue is still available though! We are available by phone, text, email, or in person if need be. We like to give our guests privacy, but are hands on for any issues that may come up. Gimli is a community that has something for everyone! Get out and explore our beaches, museums, golf courses, senior activities, live music events, race track, AMG driving academy on the ice, ice fishing, sledding, walking paths, tennis courts, bars and pubs, restaurants, bowling alley, public pool (seasonal), art gallery, farmers markets, fall suppers, and so much more! There is always something to do and see, or spend a quiet day in, relaxing and hot tubbing! If you need any pointers feel free to ask! Gimli is 1 hour drive North of Winnipeg. Everything you may need while you are here, is in walking distance of the cottage, including the beach. 2 parking spots in the driveway, ample parking on the street right next to the cottage. Feel free to park your sleds, quads, or boat trailer in the backyard! In keeping with the Icelandic theme of the cottage, we use European bedding, meaning no top sheet. All sheets, duvet covers, and linens are laundered in between each and every guest.
