Our Covid19 certified "Villa Caribbean Dream" is located in the undiscovered south of St. Lucia, with a view of the wide open Caribbean Sea. Within a few minutes drive from our quiet residential area, you can enjoy secluded beaches with clear blue water, watersports (especially kitesurfing and windsurfing), hiking, horseback riding, and pure relaxation! All our accommodations offer kitchens and wifi. We can arrange tours, groceries and delicious take out from local restaurants. The separate 2 story guest section of the main house offers four (4) air-conditioned guest rooms, two baths and a small but fully equipped kitchen. Every room is brightly furnished in a European-Caribbean style, with air-condition and king size or queen size beds. The living room downstairs is furnished with a dining area, sofa, TV and a small balcony. You have the option to cater for yourself or enjoy our rich Caribbean breakfast (15.00 USD/pers) as well as our creole dinners (all on request - 15-25.00 USD/pers). Supermarkets, shops and ATMs are just a 5 minute drive away. On weekends and holidays there are roadside BBQ’s everywhere in and around Vieux Fort, serving delicious chicken, fish and pork. In addition to the 4 rooms we also offer two fully furnished, private self-contained 1 bedroom Apartments, the "Creole House" and the "Rainbow-Apartment" (see separate listing). The rooms of our property have a separate entrance and are within an apartment in the second half our main house. Downstairs there is a small but fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom, one bathroom and a living area with balcony. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and one bathroom. Currently, the upstairs and downstairs is rented to one individual, couple or travel group only. Guests are welcome to relax in the gardens overlooking the sea with an amazing view and stunning sun sets! They can also use the loungers and outdoor gazebo. As a former tour representative I am very knowledgeable about what to do on the island. Also I live in St.Lucia since 42 years and I am well aquainted with people and can recommend places to go or things to do. COVID 19 measures: Health and Safety All international travelers need to present a negative test, practice social distancing and other precautions, and remain largely on property for the first two weeks. After the “quarantine period” there are no special restrictions. You can take buses or rent a car, and enjoy the rest of the island, following our local best practices on health and safety. “Villa Caribbean Dream” is located in Vieux-Fort, on the hill Moule-a-chique, which has the second highest lighthouse in the world above sea level. You have spectacular views over the whole island and it's a perfect opportunity to hike up the hill in the mornings. Surrounded by a beautiful garden we offer amazing views of the Caribbean Sea. If you would like to experience the Caribbean away from the tourist centers, and if interested in the people and their way of life just as much as secluded bays and tropical rain forests, you're likely to find it here. From Vieux-Fort you have good access to all local busses to Castries and Soufriere. The town is a 15 minutes walk away. Ideal would be a rental car, but it is not a necessity. Tours can be arranged by us. Villa Caribbean Dream is an 8 minutes drive from the international airport (UVF) Hewanorra in Vieux-Fort and 1 hr drive from the small regional airport in the north (SLU) We offer peace and seclusion, beautiful views and sunsets from the sun terrace of our main house of "Villa Caribbean Dream" and beaches just around the corner. Since St. Lucia's best wind- and kitesurfing spot is only a 7 min. drive away, we are frequented in particular by kite- and windsurfers. But we also like to welcome nature travelers and people who would like to get to know the local life on this beautiful tropical island.
