We strive diligently to maintain a healthy level of cleanliness & comfort in this crazy, wild spot between the primeval Osa forest of Corcovado & the abundant, tropical waters of the "Golfo Dulce" & Pacific Ocean. Many animals live on-site while others traverse in the morning and again in the afternoon. It's a great 'birding hotspot with 85 species observed to date. Common wildlife sightings on the property include all four species of Monkey, Kinkajou, Raccoon, Coatis, Armadillo, Anteater, Sloth, Raptors, Toucans, Scarlet Macaw, Crocodile, Cayman, Lizards, Snakes, Beetles, Hummingbirds, Butterflies, Herons, Iguanas & various other Birds, Insects, Reptiles & Amphibians. When you need a break from the wildlife, kick back and enjoy the colorful surroundings & tropical amenities. The outdoor garden lounge has been re-designed to offer lots of physical space for all visitors. The new fire pit is often put to use by guests with an impromptu BBQ. The large communal kitchen has what you need to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Recently we created a few separate workstations within the new kitchen area while still managing to keep it socially active. If you don't want to cook, order from our neighbor's menus that can be found at the kitchen bar, or go for a walk with easy access to more than 15 eating establishments in town. Many will deliver for a small fee if you decide to hang out in the gardens. You can walk everywhere in town, so a car is not required. The cabin offers 1 Double Bed and in case you're traveling with others there's also a set of Bunk Beds. The room is quite large with an overhead fan, slate floor, and hot water shower. It is located in our WIFI-free zone, meaning No wifi in the room, but just over the bridge, you can connect to WIFI in the garden, kitchen, and main lounge 24/7. Pura Vida! The cabin is located in the rear of the property. in a WIFI FREE ZONE meaning no WIFI. But it is available in all common areas 1.5 hectares or 4 acres of private forest, mangrove, creek, forest and gardens. Great location, 300 m to beach and 300 m to center of town. Private & secure parking with night watchman. Too good to be true, but it is! Come & see. Guests have access to a shared kitchen, free parking & wifi in the main lounge, all the gardens and mangrove areas, 2 outdoor lounges, ping pong table and a great monkey bar with a transparent roof for better monkey viewing.
