Casa Sierra has an inviting combination of proximity, seclusion & complimentary conveniences that other rentals don't have! Located in West End, on the water at Mangrove Bight. A very short walk to many scuba dive centers, bars, restaurants, shops, and grocery store. Escape the hustle & bustle of town while enjoying the quiet & peaceful setting of our property. Watch the hummingbirds, butterflies, geckos, & other wildlife from our dock or your own private deck. Included is free use of 3 kayaks. New swimming pool in October 2021. High ceilings, fans and many windows to allow the island breeze to flow through your home. This well equipped home has a couch and loveseat, 55 inch tv in living room, top of the line King sized gel foam mattress in master, cable tv, WiFi and small office area in loft. Master bedroom and 2nd bedroom both have AC for the days you might need it and flat screen tv's. Fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, baking pans, storage containers, miscellaneous spices and condiments and much more. Rental includes the use of 3 kayaks, 2 singles and a double (first come, first serve), includes washer and dryer, linens and towels. Bottled water and all utilities included except electricity (Reco). Guest usage will be billed to guest at power company rate of .45/KWH. Meter will be read at beginning and end of stay. Guests have access to meter and can monitor their utility consumption. Guests will be billed for electricity on checkout day via VRBO (or if you prefer you can pay cash at checkout). Internet is Reytel Fiber with dedicated connection to the building. It is the best available here on the island. We have also recently (April 2021) installed a new WIFI mesh system that has improved connectivity throughout the building. We have had multiple guests this year that are working remotely from our building and having zoom meetings, etc. It is rare the internet service goes out, but if it is urgent for you to have constant connectivity it may be beneficial for you to have a back up data option such as mobile hotspot on your phone. This is your own private unit which encompasses the 2nd and 3rd floors of a 3 story building. There are 2 private patios off the back of this condo, and the front patio is shared common space. The dock is common area and is shared by the 6 units in this building. Our units come fully equipped with everything you need from cooking utensils to linens to beach towels, kayaks and the list goes on. We also provide all the essentials to get you going such as: 4 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, one bottle of dish soap, one bottle of hand soap, one bottle of shampoo, and one bottle of shower gel. Please note that we do not refill these items. If you need more you can pick some up at Woody's grocery mart right down the street. Your unit comes with a washer and dryer but you will need to purchase your own laundry detergent.
