This house is truly an oasis to paradise. When you want to drop everything and check out, this is your place! It is literally RIGHT ON THE BEACH, just 50 short meters away. The space is quaintly rustic and has the absolute best breeze on the beach. Sit back and soak in the sounds of the wind and crashing waves while they harmonize with the abundance of wildlife surrounding you. We call our house Casa Temperamento Suave meaning Mellow Mood, which is exactly how you'll feel when you're here. The space - *VERY affordable BEACHFRONT* with the most captivating views and incredible ocean breeze!!!!! The perfect place to unwind and forget about it all! Mosquitos are not a problem as the open air house has a screen on each door and window. The most delicious fresh fruits and vegetables are delivered and available for purchase right next to our house at Sol y Mar once a week! There is also a small supermarket that is just about a 5 min. walk south where you can find all essentials. You also have access to a larger supermarket about another mile down the road. There is laundry service at Sol y Mar next door to our house that can be used for a small fee. We will have a private washing machine on our property in the near future. Guests will have access to the entire home. As hosts, we are available by email or telephone. We also have an onsite property manager who will greet you and help answer your questions and/or tend to your needs. We are located on the southern tip of Costa Rica on the Pacific side of the country (very close to Panama). Our house sits on the calmer part of the ocean which is ideal for snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. For those who desire surf, the best waves are just a 10 minute walk down the beach. For those adventurous enough, you can rent a car from San Jose International Airport and take the 5.5 hour drive to Playa Zancudo. If time is on your side you can stop through Jaco, Quepos, Manuel Antonio, and Dominical to get a good feel for the local surroundings of the beautiful Pacific side of the country. If driving doesn't interest you, taxis/shuttles are available and will take you directly to Playa Zancudo from SJO at a reasonable cost. You also have the option of taking a 1 hour Sansa or Nature Air flight to the town of Golfito located just 6 miles outside of Zancudo by water. From there you can take a 30 min. scenic boat ride to Playa Zancudo or opt to rent a car in town. You can even take a taxi or the local bus that will drop you off practically right in front of Casa Temperamento Suave. Lots of local bars and restaurants ranging from Italian and American cuisine, to the typical taste of the Ticos, are just a short bike ride away. One of which is located directly next door and is open 7 days a week. So if you don't feel like cooking you have many options. If you are a nightlife person, in the high season you're sure to find the fiesta you're looking for!! Activities- *The gentle surf in front of the house is perfect for body surfing/boogie boarding/kayaking/paddle boarding (which all can be rented locally). *Got Surfing on the mind? Just a short 15 min walk down the beach for ideal swells. Along our 5 mile long beach you can find the right size wave for all levels!
