This newly constructed 3-bedroom cottage with contemporary furnishings is located adjacent to the 2nd fairway of the Bell Bay Golf Club. We offer comfortable and welcoming surroundings with a spectacular view of the Bras d'Or Lakes. A full range of amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, gas fireplace, gas BBQ, wireless internet access, wide screen HDTV with satellite (2), BluRay player with video library, board games, collection of local interest books and a large deck with patio furniture for relaxing. Water sports are available as follows: Kayaks for rent - $10.00 for half day / $20.00 for full day Paddle boards for rent - $20.00 per hour Inflatable’s for rent - $30.00 per hour Pontoon Boat for rent - $250.00 for half day plus $20.00 for gas / $400.00 for full day plus $50.00 for gas (for the pontoon boat you need ID and Pleasure boat operators permit). The adventure centre is open 8am until 8pm. The Inn has an outdoor and indoor hot tub, an indoor swimming pool, a small fitness centre, a small playground for children, a camp fire with smores in the summer every night. A large outdoor checker board and shuffle board. Mayflower Cottage has access to a waterfront area with a gazebo and grills. It is a few minutes walk from the doorstep and has spectacular views as it is across the Bay from Alexander Graham Bell's home Beinn Bhreagh. Baddeck is a very scenic sailing community with boat charters and public access to island beach for swimming. Here, you are located close to the village and within walking distance to the museum, shops, fine dining, and casual restaurants. Access to snowmobile trails is behind the curling rink. Snowmobiles maybe be parked in the driveway, but not driven on the property. Trailers can be parked at the Inverary Inn down by Glasgow. They are not permitted to be parked on the property.
