Close to Yale private room in historic home.

Charming home built in 1916 with lots of updates features. The house is located less than 10 mins to most of downtown New Haven. Walking distance to Hopkins School and Yale Fields. The home includes the following for guests: Wi-Fi One private bath One shared bath Shared kitchen and dining area. Completely private 3rd floor apartment There is a microwave and mini fridge in the living room of the apartment for quick easy meals. Light noise from passing cars can be heard in the bedroom. The house is very tranquil with lots of areas to relax and enjoy the views of the woods in the back and sides of the property. We are constantly updating and working on home improvement to make the space the best it can be for guests. It is a very private house as we are barely ever there. The house is shared with other guests on the second floor but the third floor is a private room accessed through the second floor. The kitchen in the house is shared by all as well as all ground floor rooms. Most all guests are traveling nurses at Yale university hospital but occasionally a student or professional. We vet all our guests and give as much information about who they will be living with in the home to make their stays as comfortable as possible. All of the first floor (kitchen, library, living room and solarium) is shared space. Guests have access to all kitchen needs. Guest rooms include closets and/or dressers for use of personal belongings We love to have wonderful conversations with guests if the occasion arises. We are 5 min walk to a gas station and a pizza/sub restaurantas well as a Japanese restaurant and a liquor store. We are about 10-15 drive to downtown New Haven, New Haven University, Union station, Hopkins School and Yale Campus. We are also a 10 min drive to the Yale Hospital. Parking on property in front or back of home makes it very easy to get around New Haven. You could also use a bike to get around the town since we are close to most.
