Gingerbread Cottage Tranquility Experience

Welcome! Imagine waking up to the sounds of birds chirping, the gentle flow of water over river rocks, the wind swaying bamboo trees. If the river stopped flowing, and the birds stopped singing, and the trees stood still, there would only be silence. This is tranquility, and it's only a 10 minute drive to the closest beach. Get away from it all and experience restfulness surrounded by unspoiled nature at the Gingerbread Cottage high in the hills of Providence in St. Davids. You won't forget it. When all you need is a comfortable bed, a simple kitchen, a warm shower, a veranda with a spectacular view, and unspoiled nature. It's all here. Guess will have access to the entire property. Generally I try to be invisible, but I'm always a call or text away. In the event that I'm traveling while you're here, there will always be someone available to assist you. Grenada is a small island that can feel cluttered in some areas, but this neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and private. The sound of constant vehicle traffic and other man made noises are absent here. If you’re looking for peacefulness and solitude, it’s always present here. The gingerbread cottage is a small house on a large lot filled with green and lush vegetation. I like to think of it as a vegan's paradise because of the variety of edible organic fruit that grows here. If you're not allergic to mangos, bananas, oranges, mandarin, avocado, cocoa, chinese apples, papaya, pennaepiece, or any other exotic fruit in season, just pick one from a tree and enjoy it. This region is highly elevated so the temperature is cooler up here. Here, there's always a gentle breeze blowing. The main road past our property extends for roughly another two miles uphill. Walking up this road in the early morning or late afternoon to discover a spectacular sea view. Our property has access to the river just beneath it where It's fun to catch crayfish, set up a hammock, read or surf the internet, or practice yoga while surrounded by nature. The best part is, you'll always be completely shaded from the sun, so sway as long as you like. This area is also private property. Grenada is chock-full-of great places to lodge, and most visitors choose to stay close to the beach in the company of other visitors, but if you leave Grenada without spending a night or two here, you would have missed out on another amazing experience. Once you experience tranquility at the gingerbread cottage property, you won't want to leave, and like most guests, you'll be eager to come back. Some of you might recognize this property as it was previously listed on this platform with the previous owner Carol. We know you love it here, and we we can’t wait to welcome you back. Although secluded, the Gingerbread cottage is not far away from anything in Grenada. It's located toward the middle of the island so everything is within a short distance. I recommend renting a vehicle to get around a mini SUV or car with all wheel drive preferably. Remember to drive on your left side. In the event that you are unable to rent a vehicle using a taxi would be our second choice. We can recommend a driver. Most locals use public transportation to get around and the wait for buses is not very long, you can catch one at the main road which is probably a 15 minute walk away. The distance is not far but you will be walking up hill. Grocery stores, waterfalls, beaches, markets, tourist attractions, police station, hospital, are all withinin close driving distance. The airport is about a 40-45 minute drive away. It’s an unforgettable experience, enjoy it!
