Bright, comfortable room with private bath. This room has large, bright picture windows that let in an amazing amount of light in the day time with blackout curtains for those looking to sleep in. Bathroom is right next to the room and well stocked (though the bathroom is accessed via the hallway, it is not shared with anyone else in the house). Visitors will have full access to my kitchen and appliances, including coffee maker, fridge, oven, stove, and all dishes and cutlery. Only minutes from downtown and the Penn State campus, my home is a quiet refuge for grad students, game day ticket holders, visiting professors, and anyone else staying in the area and looking for a stress-free, feels-like-home place to stay. I've loved meeting folks from different backgrounds and experiences, and the eclectic decorations in my home reflect gifts that various visitors and tenants have gifted as Thank Yous. Whether you're looking for a weekend place to crash or a soft place to land for a few months, I'd love to hear from you and would be thrilled to have you stay! In addition to the private room and nearby dedicated bathroom, you'll have full access to my kitchen, living room, and even the backyard with its many bird feeders and high private hedges. I will be sharing the house with guests, will be available via text messages. I love this area mainly because it is quiet and 20 minutes walk to PSU and downtown. The arboretum is a favorite place to stroll. The CATA bus is one block and on game day the Shuttle is 2 blocks away between Giant and Weis.
