Best of Oaxaca Apartment # 2

Recently renovated bathrooms and furnishing upgrades! We doubled the size of our bathrooms for your convenience! We offer two, one bedroom turn-key apartments in a quiet and secure location of the historic downtown area of Oaxaca. We have been offering these two apartments to guest from around the world since 1998. Both apartments are located on and are attached to our private home. We reside onsite with our female English Bulldog. Our neighborhood is one of the original of this area for it was settled many years before the Spaniards arrived. For generations it was where leather work was preformed. Tanneries that produces saddles and shoes lined the once flowing river that now lies under the street REPUBLICA. Many of the same families still live in our neighborhood. There are many homes where 3-4 generations still live together so it is still a very tight knit community. Taxis are abundant and cost @ 2.50 US to get from one place to another within town during the day. If you need a taxi for any reason our family has two taxis that can be available on short notice. Local buses run frequently and are fairly inexpensive and they can be accessed just two blocks away. However, the best way to see and get around the city is by walking.
