Cottage on Petpeswick Lake in Nova Scotia

Relax with family and friends or enjoy solitude at this charming, peaceful cottage in Nova Scotia. Stunning sunrises await while you sip espresso in the quaintness of this cozy, welcoming home. That's just the start of your relaxing days while vacationing on Petpeswick lake. Enjoy the peacefulness of this pristine lake that is ideal for paddle boating, swimming, and fishing. Sit outside in the evenings and roast marshmallows by the fire while being serenaded by the loons. The cottage has all you need for a comfortable stay including fridge, stove microwave, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, and other kitchen necessities. We have Wi-Fi, TV, DVD player, Apple TV (you will need an Apple ID), books and games. Note to parents: while we welcome infants and young children, the house is not child-proofed. You have access to the whole house (except the crawl space) and the shed. Garage is not currently accessible. Our co-hosts are nearby and available to help you if you need and will interact with you as much or as little as you like! They can also provide information about sites to see and activities nearby. The cottage is a 40 minute drive from Halifax Harbour, and only 10 minute drive to amenities in Porters Lake, including Atlantic Superstore, NSLC (liquor store), Tim Horton's and more. Lawrencetown Beach, known for some of the best surfing in North America, is nearby. We love to take our boys there to play in the waves. All the shopping you could want, movie theatres and services are 30 minutes away at Dartmouth Crossing
