Pineapple House Tropical Retreat

Pineapple House is a cozy wooden cottage nestled among fruit trees and coconut palms on the top south ridge above Marigot Bay. Wake up every morning to spectacular views to Marigot Bay and out to the Caribbean Sea from your private porch and watch the birds in the coconut tree, the branches dancing with the wind and providing a nice summer breeze. It is a twenty minute walk down to the waterfront with the marina village, its bars and restaurants. Pineapple House is ideal for the single traveler or one couple. You will find it a truly a tropical retreat. Strolling around the garden, you will look down to Roseau Bay with the banana plantations and mountains in the distance. It is self-contained and part of the Summer Breeze property. My husband and I are European and live on the property all year around with our two cats, Tobby and Gandalfine. Amenities are: Wi-Fi, AC in the bedroom, gas-stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kitchen utensils, blender, iron and ironing-board, washing-machine. The bedroom has a full size bed and en-suite shower bath. All linens are provided and the cottage is serviced mid - week during your stay. Guests staying at Pineapple House have access to the private pool. The owners are not using the pool when guests are staying at Pineapple House. We welcome our guests and are available throughout their stay and assist them where we can. The Marigot Bay neighborhood is very international with Caribbean, European, Canadian and US American homeowners. Some are on the island all year round others rent their homes and spend their vacations here with the family. We recommend hiring a small jeep for the duration of your stay since there is no transportation, other than taxis, up to Marigot Heights from the Marigot Highway or Marigot Bay. It also makes exploring the island and grocery shopping so much easier. Currently restricted, please see "other things to note" below. Pineapple House is Covid-19 certified. Due to covid-19 restrictions in St. Lucia, we are accepting fully vaccinated guests only. Fully Vaccinated Guests are free to roam and can also rent a car. Just a ten minute walk from the cottage is a small cove called Trou Rolland, which is ideal for a quick swim and snorkel in the sea. Ginger Lily ferry at the Marigot Bay dock will take you across to La Bas beach and the restaurants there. The charge is five EC$ or two US$.
