This 18-unit luxury beachfront condominium was completed in 2017. It sits right on the beach so you will have direct beach access. No roads or power lines to obstruct your views! The property also offers plenty of open outdoor space with tropical landscaping, pathways, and fruit trees. Guests have access to the large swimming pool, heated jacuzzi, bocce ball court, and boogie board. We can help you to arrange cleaning service with one of our trusted employees as well as in-home spa services (manis/pedis, facials, etc.), surf lessons, horseback riding, and tours of the area. Lynn and Tom were the builders and project promoters of this condo and live onsite as the condo administrator and property manager. We will greet you when you arrive, walk you through the condo, and answer any questions you may have. San Clemente is a small fishing town that has been listed as a top retirement destination in Ecuador for expats. The beach here is sandy and the water is excellent for swimming and boogie-boarding (and surfing). We occasionally see pods of dolphin or even breaching whales (July-September). The sand is nice and packed to you can walk, jog, or bike for miles to the north or the south on a falling tide. We are located next door to the boutique hotel, Hotel Palmazul, which has a tiki bar and restaurant. We are within walking distance to many other restaurants and small shops for buying all the basics. We are about a 10-15 minute walk to the bus stop that will take you to the cities of Bahia, Portoviejo, or Manta. For getting around in-town you can hire a mototaxis (like tuk-tuks) or bicycle (the land is very flat here). We can help arrange transport to and from the condo. The condo will be stocked with basics like cleaning supplies, soap, laundry detergent, napkins. You are welcome to use anything left in any of the cabinets. We often recommend people pick up groceries at Supermaxi in Portoviejo or Megamaxi in Manta so they arrive to the condo well-stocked. There are many little stores within walking distance with basic supplies but you will have more options to choose between at a major grocery.
