Vintage finds, classic decor, and charm abound at the cottage. This space is designed with vision and built with tender loving care by our family. Anybody can offer a normal house, but we offer relaxation, character and unique atmosphere! The Tiffany Room (Bedroom #1) features what may be the Most Comfortable Bed in Stillwater and a suitcase decor that takes you back to travel a la Glenn Miller era. You'll find a deep sleep if not a swinging Big Band memory. The Pokes Paisley Room (Bedroom #2) features dark undertones for relaxation and tranquility. The vintage typewriter and telephone accent classic decor with a nod to old time architectural drawings. The bathroom features an original antique clawfoot bathtub! Shower or bathe in style and enjoy the tabletop bowl sink on a vintage dark wood cabinet with a water pump style faucet. Character! The kitchen is clean, tidy, useful and charming. Enjoy plenty of space yet a cozy and refreshing flavor. We'll provide cereal, waffles, treats, some beverages, staple foods and, most definitely, QUALITY coffee! We aren't sure how folks can possibly survive without good coffee, so we supply a Keurig and plenty of delicious pods for your enrichment. Enjoy that coffee and breakfast in front of a huge, original broadside window with plenty of sunshine to energize your day and set you off on the right foot. Or the left foot, as long as it's right what you need. Sit in the joyous, comfortable living room and unwind peacefully or step out onto the front porch for a romantic conversation while sitting to watch the world pass by. Relax and fall in love with Stay in Stilly at the Vintage Cottage! We will issue you a door code before your arrival for easy entry 24/7. We'd love to meet you but you can access even without us thanks to this handy entry security. There's plenty of private parking. We are usually available the whole time and love to meet our guests and find out about their adventures and ensure that Stay in Stilly is just the oasis of peace they've been seeking. Or, if you're somebody who prefers to "disappear" for awhile, simply let us know and you can have the cottage to yourself with nary a peep from us. Wonderfully peaceful neighborhood on the edge of Downtown Stillwater, short walk to all the joy of Downtown! Hop right over to Main Street for all the best shops, night life, and restaurants. On 7th, near main (right by parking garage) you can pick up The Bus, which is a local Stillwater transit with interconnections. On OSU football game days, it operates as a shuttle that will take you right to Boone Pickens Stadium, free of charge! Walk from the Vintage Cottage and hop the shuttle to another Cowboys victory! If you're rooting for the other team, well, good thing we didn't know that ;) The OSU shuttle is only blocks away (downtown), and Uber is also a great option in town. The cottage is right next to 12th, a major artery for Stillwater, making travel a snap. We have worked hard and poured plenty of TLC into Stay in Stilly at the Vintage Cottage to make it unlike any other venue in Stillwater. We hope you love it from start to finish, and if there's something missing, we hope you'll let us know. You can set the thermostat to fit your fancy: simply switch the left panel's mode to "heat" or "cool" as appropriate and briefly hold down the up/down arrow buttons to engage temperature setting, then adjust to your desired temperature. When you check out, please place your sheets in the laundry basket in the kitchen, along with your towels. Place used dishes in the dishwasher and we'll take care of the rest. Just lock up with that one button push and come back again very soon!
