Large private room with porch in a Bermuda cottage

Our house is an old Bermuda cottage located in a quiet street in a residential neighborhood just walking distance from town. It is located across the street from the American Embassy. The garden has lots of areas to relax in the sun or shade. The Arboretum is across the road and great for exercise or for bird watching. The National Stadium is 5 minutes away (by foot) if you wish to swim laps but our ocean is priceless with clear water and pink sand. A small supermarket - 600m away. Remember: traveling to Bermuda you require a passport that is valid for at least 6 months. Private porch and a garden with a big Poinciana tree, avocado trees and banana trees, Bermuda cherry hedges and a lot more. Beautiful private courtyard ideal for relaxing or dining. TV to stream movies. Breakfast or take-out can be eaten in the large kitchen or outside in the court yard, the veranda or anywhere in the garden. The bathroom is only shared if another guest is staying in the other bedroom. WiFi is of course available. Daily - we are happy to help you figure out how to best get around and to hear about how your day was when you return to the house. We also have informational materials in your room for you such as the bus and ferry schedules, Bermuda's dining guide, the monthly Bermuda magazine with the calendar of events and sightseeing tips. Beautiful residential and safe neighborhood Friendly neighbors Bus stop nearby - 3 minutes to walk Close by: - Arboretum (across the road) is beautiful for morning and evening walks or using the exercise trail. - National stadium (track field) / swimming pool (50meter lanes) - Small grocery store nearby Bus stop no 3 is around the corner on Middle Road (max. 3 min. walk) going both directly to Hamilton or St. George's every 30 minutes. Going to Dockyard: Take the bus into town and exit at the ferry terminal and take the ferry (it's a beautiful ride). Alternatively switch to another bus line going to Dockyard. A map with routes will be available at arrival. Taxis to/from town (Hamilton) are reasonable due to the proximity (being walking distance). Bikes and bicycle rentals in town (Gorham Road) Mini electric car rental at the Hamilton Princess Hotel and around the corner on Happy Valley Road. I can give you lots of tips upon your arrival as I also do guided tours and happy to share with you the best must-see spots on our islands and explorations depending on the time of year. We have a little rescue dog and a parrot who enjoys being talked to. We are happy to help you with any kind of planning of your vacation on our beautiful island and help you to find anything you need or the best routes to take. If possible, we will take you to the nearest grocery store or into town to rent an electric car, bike or e-bicycle. You’re always welcome to come along for our evening dog walks which we vary all over the island.
