Experience a new luxury Tiny Home, nestled in rural Southern Utah, redrock cliffs in the distance, busy Milky Way skyscape, in a quiet little hamlet on the edge of Capitol Reef National Park. From a distance the Tiny Home looks kinda ... tiny - but once inside, there's a feeling of spaciousness and light - high ceilings and lots of windows. It is really ideal for 1-2 people, but there's a comfy sofa bed as well for a 3rd person, and a long padded bench for a fourth. Because the ceilings are high, it feels surprisingly spacious (432 sq ft). Beautiful wood paneling, hardwood floors, a pebbled shower floor, gas stove, tankless water heater and a sizable deck (with two deck chairs and nearby picnic table) are a few of the sweet elements to this comfortable, inviting place to chill after a day in the Park. Always available by phone/text/email, and in person when we are in town. We live a block from the house, though we often travel, and have a friend available if we are not in town. This is the neighborhood I always wanted to grow up in. A quiet little hamlet set off from the main road, walks around the block with our dog, visiting friendly neighbors, few cars, beautiful, simple, amazing night skies. This IS the middle of nowhere so you'll need your car : ) All homes have their idiosyncrasies – here are ours: • The most obvious one is that a lot of the shelving and cabinets are high up and require a step ladder to reach. (We have 2.) It was designed this way to maximize view, but can be a bit of a pain (or fun!) to keep going up and down the step ladder. I just put things I want handy on the wide wooden counter, or in a bin under the cushioned bench. Besides, it might help you lose weight between the up and down and the extra effort to reach the dry goods : ) • This house has a waterless hot water heater. The shower sprays out warm water, comfortable for showering but it’s not hot hot when the weather is really cold. The water heater also provides additional heating in the bedroom and bathroom. • AC - AC is in the main living area. You might need the provided fan to help cool off the bedroom if the temperature is high outside. • Shower floor – those pebbles that look so cool and will give you a foot massage might feel good or might annoy you! There’s a rolled up pad just in case.
