Thru interior design and a lot of handmade work, I brought a piece of Europe and life style we live - simplicity. We use wind-powered energy for the house electricity which is the cleanest way to go. This house strives to be 100% PLASTIC-FREE. This is one of the first houses in La Crosse which was built in 1896 and has been completely renovated recently (2017). It has unique European simplicity in interior design today. No carpets. All original wood floors over 100 years throughout the house. We Offer: Three guest rooms - Full-size Beds One guest room - 2 Twin-size Beds I try to stay on a top of each your requests and questions and respond same day. I am available when you need me! Because I have a full time job, you may self check-in. Day before arrival I usually send very detailed instructions on how to find place, where to park etc. Please just ask me questions and I will answer them :) We have the safest neighborhood in La Crosse - well established wealthy community. People are friendly and will help you if you get lost! :) The cross a street, couple blocks down - forest, golf course, hiking trails, skiing, UWL University (couple blocks away), bluffs... The house is close to UWL, GrandDad and Miller Bluffs, Mayo Clinic, farm-to-table restaurant the Mint and Iguana Mexican Food, biking-hiking trails like Hixon Forest or Myrick Park. La Crosse use Uber and Lyft, one block from bus station, 2 bikes on a property Our guests have 24/7 access. Earlier self check-in is often possible if requested. I have a cat on the property who is super friendly so she will run to you as soon as she sees you. If you are allergic, please let me know ahead. She has very strict policy where to go and Fetti (cat's name) follows them - or at least does her best.
